Flock Health Plans
The aim of a flock health plan is to establish the health status and prductivity of the flock and put measures in place to improve it. Setting aside an hour to review flock management can be extremely valuable and will hopefully save money in the long term and help improve production.
Data such as lambing records, culling and replacement rates, ratio of ewes to rams will be analysed. Areas such as nutrition, parasite control, vaccination, flock security and lameness control can be explored.
